MOSCOW, 10 Nov. Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich on Monday visited the office of Russia’s largest Internet company “Yandex” in Moscow and discussed with its leadership the development of the information technology industry and the company’s projects, according to the website of the Cabinet.
Dvorkovich met with the General Director of group of companies “Yandex” Arkady Volozh and Director General of “Yandex” in Russia by Alexander Shulgin.
“They discussed issues of development of the information technology industry and the company’s projects. In particular, they talked about the possibilities of using technology recognition and speech synthesis that develops the “Yandex”, the company’s activities in Turkey and other topics”, — stated in the message.
Yandex — Russia’s largest Internet company. The company’s largest shareholder is its founder Arkady Volozh. According to LiveInternet, in the third quarter the share of “Yandex” on the Russian market of Internet search (including search on mobile devices) amounted to an average of 57.1 percent.
