RWE’s net profit for 9 months has grown almost in 2 times


In terms of per share profit for the reporting period amounted to 1,62 € 3.15 against Euro in January-September 2014. The company in the third quarter of 2015 recorded net profit of 193 million euros.

MOSCOW, 12 Nov. Net profit of the second largest German energy concern RWE AG attributable to shareholders for the first nine months of 2015 increased by 94.7% compared with the same period last year — up to 1,935 billion euros, reports the company.

In terms of per share profit for the reporting period amounted to 1,62 € 3.15 against Euro in January-September 2014. RWE revenue for the reporting period amounted to 33.8 billion euros, an increase of 0.5% in annual terms.

The company in the third quarter of 2015 recorded net profit of 193 million euros against a net loss of EUR 30 million by the end of July-September 2014. The company’s profit per share was 0.32 euros against a loss of EUR 0.05 a year earlier. Revenue grew 0.8% and accounted for 9.88 billion euros.

The company maintained its forecast for adjusted net income at the end of the year in the range of 1.1-1.3 billion euros. RWE hopes to get operating margins in the current year in the range of 3.6-3.9 billion euros.

RWE AG is among five of Europe’s largest energy concerns. The company is engaged in delivery and sale of electricity and gas to European countries. RWE AG, provides electricity to about 20 million customers and gas to 10 million customers.
