TYUMEN, 12 Nov. The Governor of Tyumen region Vladimir Yakushev has presented awards to municipalities who have shown the highest results in agriculture by the end of 2015.
The best was Isetskiy district, he received a cash prize in the amount of 1.2 million rubles and the banner of the head of region, said the press officer of the Governor.
Golyshmanovsky district received an award of one million rubles, Zavodoukovsky urban Okrug — 900 thousand rubles, Nizhnetavdinsky area — 800 thousand, Yarkovsky district — 700 thousand, Ishimsky area — 600 thousand rubles. In addition, grants in the amount of 100 thousand rubles received the young professionals — agronomists, veterinarians, engineers and livestock specialists, said the Agency interlocutor.
He added that this year the first in the region completed harvesting grain and legume farmers of Tyumen region. Farmers that have achieved the best rates of productivity, increase of production and sales, has allocated a cash prize in the amount of 600 thousand rubles.
“Sanctions and the food embargo has once again demonstrated the correctness of the chosen course on modernization and support of agriculture. The reached results became possible thanks to the professionalism and hard work of all who work in agriculture, the proper use of advanced technologies and modern equipment,” — said the head of the region.
