Tomsk Governor Sergei Zhvachkin intends to run for a second term


TOMSK, November 12. The Governor of Tomsk region Sergey Zhvachkin plans to run for a second term. He reported about it on Thursday to journalists, commenting on rumors about possible early elections of the head region.

“I have a General deadline is 2017, I still have two years. Be re-elected – Yes, definitely, I never refused, never,” he said.

The Zhvachkin became the head of the Tomsk region in 2012, succeeding Victor Kress.
