Two oil fields with recoverable reserves of 30 million tons opened in the Orenburg region


MOSCOW, November 11./TASS/. Two oil fields with recoverable reserves of 30 million tons opened in the Orenburg region, said the Minister of natural resources of Russia Sergey Donskoy.

“The geological reserves, which are put on the balance sheet at C1-C2, account for more than 74 million tons,” he said, adding that opening the reserves was made by “Sladkowski-Nina”.

From the presentation of the Ministry of environment that it comes to Yasnaya Polyana and Kosinskom fields, which are located in the southern part of the basin Buzuluk.

It clarifies in its communication to the press service of the Ministry of natural resources, recoverable oil reserves of the Yasnaya Polyana section C1 be 2,599 million tons, C2 category amount to 8,651 million tons. The volume of dissolved gas reserves of C1 – 935 million cubic meters, and C2 – 3,114 billion cubic meters.

In accordance with the operational calculation of reserves of oil and dissolved gas on Kosinskom field, were obtained the following estimates: total volume of recoverable reserves of C1 oil is 1.67 million tonnes and C2 category – 22,552 million tons. The dissolved gas reserves amounted to 980 million cubic meters of C1 and 16,91 billion cubic meters of category C2.
