The Greeks and Russians more than other Europeans will cut spending for Christmas


Moscow. November 13. European family this year the average spend on Christmas is less money, with the most significant reduction is expected in Russia and Greece, according to a survey by Deloitte.

The Christmas budget of the average family in Europe will amount to 513 euros, which is 0.28% less than last year. At the same time, in 2014 the fall in this indicator was more significant and amounted to 3%.

In Greece this year families will spend the holidays at 8,63% less – about 402 Euro, in Russia – on 6,96%, less than 217 Euro. This is followed by the Portuguese, which will reduce the cost of 5.55% to 315 euros.

At the same time, the survey showed that the British intend to increase holiday spending by 0.68% to 884 euros on average per family, the Danes – on 5,21%, to 617 Euro, French – 0.23%, to 577 euros, and residents of Germany – 0.87%, up to 423 euros.

In the Deloitte study involved more than 14 thousand people living in Europe and South Africa, where it is expected to decrease holiday costs by 9.9% compared to the previous year.
