SAMARA, 13 Nov. Czech TRIMILL company intends to establish on the territory of the special economic zone (SEZ) in Ulyanovsk machine-tool production for 10 million euros, according to the regional government.
TRIMILL founded in 2000. It is a manufacturer of high-speed machining centers designed for machining of tools, molds and dies, and also for the production of products for the automotive and aviation industries. Industrial building located in Czech towns Zlin and Vsetin. TRIMILL company operates in the market of machine-tool equipment, its clients include the automotive company Skoda, Volkswagen, Audi.
“The Governor of the Ulyanovsk region Sergey Morozov, General Director of the Czech company “TRIMILL” Milan Julina and CEO of the development Corporation of the region Sergey Vasin signed an agreement of intent to construct in territory of region of factory on manufacture of ultra high speed machining centers”, — stated in the message.
The company will be located in the SEZ Ulyanovsk. The project will be implemented in several stages. In the first phase the company will lease production facilities in the SEZ, the following — build your own case. In the summer of 2015, representatives of the company TRIMILL visited Ulyanovsk and decided on a site for the production. The project investment will be about EUR 10 million. The completion dates were not disclosed.
According to the regional authorities, in the near future in the Ulyanovsk will begin construction of machine tool plant of the German company Hermle, and the creation of the industrial Park of suppliers around of Russia’s largest machine-tool enterprises of the German-Japanese company DMG Mori Seiki.
As previously reported by the Governor of the region Sergey Morozov, the Ulyanovsk region it is planned to create a machine cluster. It is expected that the region will be the entire chain of production — from design and component manufacture to Assembly of finished machines. The cluster may include a Dutch company a mayfran, Swiss Gondrand. Also there are negotiations on attracting investors from China.
