The preservation duty, according to the government, will in 2016 to allocate in the Federal budget of 200 billion rubles in the conditions of sharp decrease in forecast oil prices.

MOSCOW, 13 Nov. The state Duma on Friday at plenary session adopted in first reading the draft law on the conservation in 2016, the rates of export customs duties on oil in the amount of 42%.

According to the government of the Russian Federation, who made the document, it will in 2016 to allocate in the Federal budget of 200 billion rubles in the conditions of sharp decrease in forecast oil prices.

The document saves in 2016, the current procedure for calculating the rates of export customs duties on oil at an oil price above 182,5 dollars for ton.

The government believes that the preservation of the rates of export customs duties on oil at the level of 2015 will maintain the refineries failed to upgrade refining capacity. However this will not lead to higher prices for petroleum products because the duty on them is proportional to the rate of export duties on oil.
