MOSCOW, November 13. The speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko called for the intensification of joint efforts of Russia and Lebanon to combat terrorism. “Strongly condemning this heinous crime, confirmed by a strong belief in the necessity of increasing the coordination of joint efforts in combating terrorism in all its manifestations”, – said the head of the Federation Council. She also asked a Lebanese colleague to pass on to members of the upper house of the Russian Parliament’s “sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased, words of support and wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured”.
