Ushakov: Russia and China at the G20 summit to discuss Syria and the Korean Peninsula


Vladimir Putin and XI Jinping at a meeting in the framework of the G20 summit will discuss the most important issues of bilateral relations, the situation in Syria and the situation on the Korean Peninsula, and also to consider questions of interaction of two countries within the framework of the “group of twenty”.

MOSCOW, 13 Nov. The Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President XI Jinping at the meeting on 15 November in the framework of the G20 summit in Antalya will discuss the situation in Syria and the situation on the Korean Peninsula, told reporters at a briefing on Friday, the assistant to the Russian President Yuri Ushakov.

“Will be held a traditional meeting with the President of China, it will take place on 15 November in the evening at 17.00. Putin uses every opportunity to meet with the Chinese leader. We meet in a bilateral format, literally, at all international events,” — said Ushakov.

According to him, “we expect that there will be held an exchange of views on the most important topical issues of bilateral relations, and discussed international issues, in particular, the interaction of two countries within the framework of the “group of twenty”, the situation in Syria, the situation on the Korean Peninsula and so forth.”
