ANTALYA, November 15. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin arrived in Antalya (Turkey) at the two-day summit of the group of twenty. In the schedule of the Russian leader is also a number of bilateral meetings.
One of the main topics of the first day of the summit was declared the fight against terrorism, which now became especially actual on the background of what happened in Paris a terrorist attack.
Before the talks, “twenty” Putin will take part in the informal meeting of leaders of the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa). Discussion of the problem of terrorism and the refugee situation on the agenda of a working dinner of leaders of “twenty” is scheduled for Sunday evening. On the sidelines of the summit, Putin in the evening on Sunday scheduled four separate meetings with President of China XI Jinping, the managing Director of the International monetary Fund (IMF) Christine Lagarde, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. On the second day of meetings, 16 November, will discuss, in particular, reform of the International monetary Fund, international trade, and energy. Also on Monday, Putin will hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister of Italy Matteo Renzi, Prime Minister of great Britain David Cameron and the king of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdul Aziz al Saud.
According to Ushakov, a separate conversation of the Russian leader with U.S. President Barack Obama was not consistent, but the two leaders of possible contacts during the events of the summit.
