Countries of the UN need to strengthen control over transactions with oil


Earlier countries the UN has adopted a resolution on the suppression of illegal oil trade, and also adopted the regulation on trade in artifacts.

MOSCOW, 16 Nov. UN member States must fully report on the fight against illegal oil transactions, the proceeds of which go to Finance terrorism, said Deputy foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov.

“What we’re going to try things, perhaps, as something to strengthen and to take additional steps to make the state more responsible to report on the measures they have taken, particularly on oil trade. Because I must admit that not everything is quite fully and fairly responsible approach to this issue,” he said at a meeting of the Federation Council Committee on international Affairs.

According to Gatilov, according to Russia’s initiative adopted a resolution on the suppression of illegal oil trade, and also adopted the regulation on trade in artifacts.
