Dvorkovich hopes for constructive dialogue of the intergovernmental Commission of Russia and China


BEIJING, 16 Nov. Meeting of the Russian-Chinese intergovernmental Commission on energy cooperation began in Beijing. Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, who heads the Russian delegation looks forward to constructive and intensive negotiations.

The Russian delegation includes the Deputy head of the Ministry of energy of the Russian Federation on international Affairs Anatoly Yanovsky, the head of NOVATEK Leonid Mikhelson, the head of Russian grids Oleg Budargin, the head of RUSAL, Oleg Deripaska, representatives of RusHydro and metallurgical companies.

“I see that you are in great shape, so the discussion will be very constructive and intense,” Dvorkovich said, referring to his Chinese colleague.

Deputy Prime Minister of Gossoveta of China Zhang gaoli expressed confidence that the parties can come to a mutual understanding on existing differences.

“We have minor issues on which the parties have disagreements. Nevertheless, I am confident that we can achieve mutual understanding and to reach new agreements. We are ready to exert maximum efforts to resolve these issues,” said Zhang gaoli.

He noted that a meeting of mezhpravkomissii will be the preparations for the upcoming visit of Chairman of Russian government Dmitry Medvedev to China, which will be held tentatively in the second half of December.

Earlier on the visit of the Russian Prime Minister to China reported Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets. According to Golodets, during the visit of Medvedev and Premier of China Li Keqiang will launch the years, Russian and Chinese media.
