The relocation of the Moscow city Duma on Strastnoy Boulevard will continue until the end of November


MOSCOW, November 16. The Moscow city Duma will completely move to a new place of work until the end of November. This was reported in the apparatus of the Metropolitan Parliament.

“Moving to the Moscow city Duma will last until 20 November for sure, and possibly until the end of November. The new place is open almost the entire Duma. This weekend moved the Chairman of the Moscow city Duma and his deputies. Some of the deputies already working in the building on Strastnoy Boulevard, and someone is still left on Petrovka”, – said the Agency interlocutor.

Among the parliamentarians, still working in the old building at Petrovka, the Chairman of the Commission of Moscow city Council on health and public health Lyudmila Stebenkova. The meeting of its Commission on Monday will likely last among the activities of the Duma, carried out at the hospital, said in the Moscow city Duma.

Thus, starting from December the capital in the full Parliament will work in the complex of buildings of the St. Catherine hospital in Strastnoy Boulevard. For this building was restored and adapted for administrative purposes.

Earlier it was reported that the relocation of the Moscow city Duma in the new complex must be held before November 15. On Monday, some media reported that the capital’s MPs have completely moved on Strastnoy Boulevard.

As reported earlier, the Moscow state construction supervision Committee, members will be placed in the new building with an area of almost 11 thousand sq. m. it also has meeting rooms, offices, etc. Parliamentarians will also be able to use a renovated historic building from Catherine’s hospital. The necessity of moving the Moscow city Duma has arisen after the decision was made to increase the number of deputies with 35 to 45 people.
