SUEK in Kuzbass will open after reconstruction a factory for the enrichment of coal for 1 billion rubles


KEMEROVO, November 17. /Corr. Olga Bychkova/. Siberian coal energy company (SUEK) will enter Tuesday into operation in the Kemerovo region after the reconstruction processing module on mine “Taldinsky-Western-1”.

“In total, all of the large-scale implementation of this innovative project aims to 1 billion rubles. The reconstruction was carried out for one year. This created 104 new jobs,” according to the company.

Before the commissioning of the new module worked in the factory processing plant, built 7 years ago. “However, to expand its capabilities and improve final product quality and increasing volumes of processing, it was decided to rehabilitate it. As a result, the capacity of the factory has increased twice”, – said the company, adding that the project capacity will amount to 2.7 million tonnes of processed coal per year.

With regard to the reconstruction, the company can produce two types of concentrate as well as power dropouts. According to the company, the feature of the module is compact: its dimensions are 66 by 20 m, with a processing capacity of can afford concentrator occupying a minimum of 2 times a large area.

SUEK is the largest Russian producer and one of the main exporters of thermal coal. Coal mining enterprises of the company are situated in 7 subjects of the Russian Federation.

Kemerovo region is the leading coal mining region of Russia, which produces 59% of all Russian coal. In 2014 was made 210,9 million tons of coal, which is 3.9% more than the year before.
