The price oil “baskets” the OPEC (OPEC Reference Basket of crudes) on Monday, November 16, fell 1.03 dollars, or by 2,62% to 38,18 USD per barrel, having fallen to this level for the first time since February 18, 2009, when the price was $ 38,1 per barrel, the message of the organization.

The average price of a barrel of oil in November was $ 41,98 dollar, in 2015, 51.5 per dollar.

In 2012, the average price of a “basket” was 109,45 dollars per barrel, in 2011 — 107,46 dollar, in 2010 — 77,45 dollar. The record price of basket was set July 3, 2008 — 140,73 dollars per barrel.

The price “baskets” the OPEC is defined as the average of the prices of the following grades of oil extracted by the countries of cartel: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Iran Heavy (Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
