The mayor of Moscow and Teheran have agreed about joint implementation of various projects, said the mayor of the Iranian capital Mohammad-Bagher Qalibaf.
MOSCOW, 20 Nov. Russian and Iranian experts before the end of the year matches the list of projects and volume of investments for realization in the framework of the signed Memorandum of development of cooperation between Moscow and Tehran, said in an interview with the mayor of the Iranian capital Mohammad-Bagher Qalibaf.
“I hope that after the signing yesterday of the Memorandum with the mayor’s office, we will be able in General to develop our cooperation and urban management… the Document was signed for three years. And we agreed that every year we will be implementing specific projects, starting from 2016,” said Qalibaf.
According to him, the Memorandum had not mentioned a specific figure and the parameters, the parties outlined directions for cooperation: urban planning, tourism development, transport and so on.
“We agreed that in the coming two months will create an expert working group, they will come here from Tehran, we also expect the visit of partners from Moscow, and at these expert meetings will be determined by the direction and amount of work. And contracts will be determined,” — said the mayor of Tehran.
According to him, a priority next year will be joint projects in tourism, culture, technological cooperation.
