MOSCOW, November 20. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree, which prohibited purchases of foreign software (SW) for state and municipal needs. This is stated in a statement posted on the website of the Cabinet.
“In accordance with the signed resolution, customers will be required to limit purchases of Russian. The exception is cases where software with the necessary functional, technical and (or) performance in Russia is absent. The need for the appropriate needs to be justified in the manner prescribed by the Federal law dated 5 April 2013 No. 44-FZ “On contract system in procurement of goods, works, services for state and municipal needs”, – it is specified in the certificate to the document.
A draft resolution was prepared and submitted by the Ministry of communications and mass communications of the Russian Federation. It is noted that the adopted decisions aimed at implementation of sectoral programs of import substitution.
