Oil is rising on data from Baker Hughes the rig count


The total number of drilling rigs in the U.S. the season ended, the work week was reduced to 10 pieces, or 1.3%. As at 21.09 MSK price of January futures for North sea petroleum mix of mark Brent has grown on 2,61% to 45,34 USD per barrel.

As at 21.09 MSK price of January futures for North sea petroleum mix of mark Brent has grown on 2,61% to 45,34 USD per barrel. The price of January futures for oil of mark WTI has grown on 2,13% — to 42,61 per barrel.

According to the American oil and gas service company Baker Hughes, total rig count in the US by end of working week decreased by 10 units, or 1.3%, and totalled 757 units. In annual terms, this figure dropped to 1172 unit, or by 60.7%.

This reduced the number of oil drilling — for 10 units, or 1,74%, to 564 units. The number of gas installations has not changed and amounted to 193 of the installation.
