Moscow. November 20. Russia is ready to launch an energy bridge to Crimea from Krasnodar region along the bottom of the Kerch Strait a little before 1 January 2016, said energy Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.
According to him, the transmission of electricity from Ukraine to Crimea has two lines and is 650 MW. Two transmission lines are excluded from work due to detonation. In full readiness are gas turbine power plants, which were transferred to the Crimea and other equipment.
Currently, the Peninsula dependent on the supply of electricity from Ukraine. Earlier it was reported that in the Crimea will be built by concrete developments from the Krasnodar region. In addition, in Crimea it is planned to build about 1 Gigawatt of generation. The project is implemented by the state Corporation “rostec”.
