Kudrin predicted Russia a shortage of labour during economic growth

Moscow. November 21. After two or three years in Russia may be a serious labour shortage, said the ex-Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation, the head of Committee of civil initiatives Alexei Kudrin.

“Russia is experiencing a severe shortage of manpower. We have low unemployment is not because we work so well. We have just reduced the number of the population that is of working age,” he told reporters on Saturday.

“In 2-3 years, when we will have economic growth, we will lack the labour force, – said Kudrin. – Reduction of jobs due to the temporary situation that will last for almost two years. Then will begin again the increase in jobs, and we will miss working hands”.

According to him, first of all, the deficit will relate to special occupations, as the occupational structure of the workforce will not be easy to rebuild in accordance with the needs of the economy.
