In the Ministry of transport of the Crimea is considering the possibility of delivery of fuel by tankers instead of railway


SIMFEROPOL, November 23. /Corr. Alexey Konovalov/. The Ministry of transport of the Crimea is considering options for the delivery of fuel to the Peninsula by sea, said Monday the head of Department Andrey Bessalov.

“Marine transport is always better and cheaper. You can drive 2-3 large tanker per month and to fill the capacity of Feodosia tank farm. Such options now being considered, is a study of fuel delivery by sea. But there is no longer technical and commercial issues,” the Minister said.

Bessalov said that on the Peninsula there is a reserve of approximately 30 days of fuel for diesel power units, which in the Crimea in conditions of energy deficiency are provided with social facilities and infrastructure.

“The cars all the time are suitable, the capacity of Feodosia tank farm filled by 20% so we can take fuel in unlimited quantities”, said Bessalov.
