The undermining of the power lines has led to disaster reduction in nuclear capacity in Ukraine


KIEV, November 23. Undermining the utility poles in the Kherson region, which supply electricity including in the Crimea, led to disaster reduction capacity of Ukrainian nuclear power plants. This was stated by first Deputy Director of company “Ukrenergo” Yuriy Kasich.

Settlements of the Crimea remained without light at night on November 22. The supply of electricity has stopped in all four lines coming from the territory of Ukraine. According to information from Kiev, the reason for this are the bombings in Ukraine pylons. Crimean authorities imposed a state of emergency (emergency).

Now all the major cities of the Crimea is already connected to electricity, but due to the lack of own generation in the Peninsula schedules are inputted disconnect people from electricity and water supply. All social facilities of the Peninsula is connected to backup power sources.

In Crimea believe that the organizers of the so-called energoblok Peninsula are deputies of the Verkhovna Rada Mustafa Dzhemilev and Refat Chubarov, as well as former Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea, the owner of the TV channel ATR Lenur islyamov. Previously, they had formally announced their intention to de-energize the Crimea.

Currently, the participants of the blockade of the Crimea block access to destroyed transmission lines.
