Putin will discuss with king Abdullah II, the issue of the Syrian crisis and counter-terrorism


MOSCOW, November 23. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin on 24 November in Sochi will hold talks with the king of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Abdullah II bin al Hussein, who will visit Russia on a working visit at the invitation of the Russian President. About it reports a press-service of the Kremlin.

During the meeting, Putin and Abdullah II will thoroughly exchange views on topical issues of international and regional agenda, including the situation in the middle East region. “In particular, leaders discussed in detail the issue of the Syrian crisis in the first place, combating the terrorist threat posed by “Islamic state” (IG, is prohibited in Russia)”, – stated in the message.

It is also planned to discuss key aspects of bilateral cooperation and prospects of its development.
