Moscow. November 23. The arbitration court of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (KHMAO) on Monday has stopped manufacture on the case of bankruptcy of airline “UTair”, reports the press service of the court.
“The case is closed due to the fact that it has no creditors”, – said the press officer.
As it was informed earlier, the arbitration KHMAO dismissed the suit last lender UTair – Bank – in connection with the repayment of debt.
The Bank filed to the Arbitration court of Khanty-Mansiysk the claim about bankruptcy of airline “UTair” in September this year with the requirement to include in the register of creditors ‘ claims payable in the amount of 51,798 million. The suit was taken in the framework of bankruptcy proceedings of the company, which is already considered by the court.
Bankruptcy “UTair” was initiated by CJSC “Investment-financial company “aircraft leasing” in December 2014. Since that time, business was entered by more than 10 creditors, but their applications were terminated, including by reason of the extrajudicial settlement of the dispute.
UTair is among the leading airlines of the Russian Federation, is one of the world’s largest helicopter operators. According to the company, its helicopter fleet comprises more than 350 machines of Russian and foreign production.
The airline was in a difficult financial position amid falling demand for air travel.
