MOSCOW, 24 Nov. Medical cluster on the territory of innovation center SKOLKOVO can be built jointly with Israel, said the head of the Department for external economic and international relations of Moscow Sergei cheryomin at the forum “Moscow-Israel 2015: Challenges, solutions and prospects”.
He said that in the creation of the medical cluster on the territory of the SKOLKOVO innovation center invited the Israeli colleagues.
“We are already negotiating with a number of Israeli companies that are interested not only in the supply of equipment for the diagnostic center, but also in the management of this project, and now we see tough competition between the largest foreign companies”, said Cheremin.
According to him, from Russia annually go to over million people with medical tourism.
“Because of this, Russia is losing about 7-8 billion dollars — those services that provide foreign clinics, and so today decided to establish such a medical cluster, equipped with the most modern equipment and I think Moscow will be to provide services from the point of view of medical tourism”, — said the head of the Department of Moscow.
Cheremin also affected the cultural interaction between the countries. “We discussed with our colleagues from Israel, the possibility of organizing in the ENEA permanent mission of Israel and the permanent exhibition”, — he added.
