The tour operator “Natalie tours” suspend the sale of tours to Turkey in the near future

“Because November is not the season for Turkey, it is premature to talk about serious losses for the business. However, if the conflict gets worse and the suspension of sales will last 2-3 months, the damage to tourism business on orders will exceed the losses from the ban on flights to Egypt,” warning in ATOR. As recalled in the Association of Russian tour operators has estimated losses from the suspension of the implementation of tours to Egypt 1.7 billion rubles.

Assessment ATOR, Turkey currently there are more than 10 thousand Russian tourists. About 20% of them – those who overbook their holidays to Turkey due to the suspension of air links with Egypt. Some tourists, both organized and independent, are in Istanbul. With some Russian tour operators have already announced the suspension of sales of tours – including the tour operators Tez Tour, “Biblio Globus”, “Natalie tours”, “Pegas Touristik”.

Earlier Federal Agency on tourism (Rosturizm) has recommended to the Russian tour operators and travel agents to suspend the promotion and implementation of tourism products and individual tourism services in Turkey, including through third countries. This happened after front-line bomber su-24 Russian air group was shot down by Turkish fighter F-16 crashed in Syria.

As reported by the Federal tourism Agency, the Russians have the right to demand a full refund of the cost of tours to Turkey in connection with the recommendation of the Ministry of foreign Affairs (MFA) of the Russian Federation and Minister to visit the country because of security threats.
