The construction of Europe’s largest milling complex, involving the processing of grain in volume of 1,300 tons a day, began in the Tambov region, said the representative of the press service of the regional administration.

TAMBOV, Russia, 25 Nov. The construction of Europe’s largest milling complex, involving the processing of grain in volume of 1,300 tons a day, began in the Tambov region, said the representative of the press service of the regional administration.

“To the erection of a flour mill started in Nikiforovsky district Saburov bread factory, part of the Michurinsk flour-milling company. The project involves the construction of a new production building, equipped with modern equipment, a warehouse of bulk storage of flour with a volume of 3250 tons, the export terminal, and the installation of the line of bran granulation, significant volume of which is planned to be exported”, — said the Agency interlocutor.

He noted that the company will have its own substation, boiler room and water treatment facilities. The modernization of the warehouse of finished products, and the expansion of Elevator capacities will allow to increase the volume of simultaneous storage of grain with 75 to 100 thousand tons. The construction of the facility is conducted in stages. Commissioning of the milling complex is planned for 2018.

“The project will receive state support in terms of subsidizing the interest rate on the loan. The commissioning of this enterprise will allow to increase tax revenues to the regional budget, as well as strengthen the position of the Tambov region in the area of import substitution”, — said the press service.
