“I would not now to escalate the situation, it is also wrong. There is a relationship of trade-economic, we have always advocated that to separate these things to a certain extent, – said Kostin. – So I think we need to look at this situation. I don’t see any major losses for the Russian economy”.
He noted that the situation (around the downed su-24 Russian air group – approx. ed) do not have very much impact on economic performance, “even if there may be temporary issues related to trade and economic relations, with gas”.
“But gas relations the situation may be affected, because this is quite a serious political thing,” said Kostin.
He stressed that in the world always be some negative events and encouraged to treat them calmly.
“Our fault, our position is balanced, in my opinion, constructive, but firm, it is also important”, – concluded the banker.
