The ultimate goal of the project is to compensate for the harm caused to highways of General use of Federal importance lorries with a permissible maximum weight exceeding 12 t According to Rosavtodor, the fundraising will enable the formation of a special Fund, proceeds of which will go on repair of roads that break up the trucks. According to expert estimates, in 2016 the collection of payments will bring 40 billion rubles to the Federal road Fund.
