The FAS will deal with rising prices on tickets for the backdrop of cheaper jet fuel

Moscow. On 26 November. The Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) found that the growth of prices for jet fuel cannot be the cause of the observed rise in price of tickets, said the head of Department for control over fuel-energy complex FAS Dmitry Makhonin at the international Congress Oil Terminal.

He noted that prices for jet fuel have dropped, so you need to raise the question about why the prices of tickets.

According to him, it was said that the reason for the growth can be growth of prices for jet fuel, however, the FAS has considered a situation and concluded that the price of kerosene cannot be the cause of rising prices for tickets.

In early September, Makhonin said that FAS conducts analysis of the situation in connection with the increase of the exchange prices for jet fuel, which in August grew by 6%. Amidst claims of FAS, the cost of jet fuel began to decline from the second half of September.

Last month the price of jet fuel at the Saint-Petersburg International Mercantile exchange fell by 5.5%.
