The main purpose of the visit, state Duma speaker Sergei Naryshkin of the General Assembly of the parliamentary Assembly of the black sea economic cooperation (PABSEC) will be the transfer of the chairmanship from Romania to Russia.

SAINT PETERSBURG, 27 Nov. State Duma speaker Sergei Naryshkin on Friday to take part in the General Assembly of the parliamentary Assembly of the black sea economic cooperation (PABSEC), which will adopt a Declaration on combating terrorism.

“Within two days of the meeting of the parliamentary Assembly of the black sea economic cooperation (PABSEC). Tomorrow we are going to adopt a Declaration on combating terrorism, will call for all countries to consolidate, because there is one common enemy is ISIL. We can’t allow our geopolitical conflict led to a weakening of the fight against terrorism. The fight against terrorism should be put at the head of the corner”, — told reporters the head of the delegation of the Russian Parliament in the Parliament, the state Duma Deputy Mikhail Emelyanov.

In the framework of the 46th General Assembly of PABSEC, Naryshkin will take part in the ceremony of the handover of the chairmanship of the organization from the Parliament of Romania Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

“One of the main issues tomorrow is the transition of the presidency (PABSEC). Currently holds the presidency of Romania. And tomorrow will be the transfer of the presidency of the Russian Federation”, — said Emelyanov.

In addition, according to the MP, in the framework of the UN General Assembly will discuss the issues of fight against corruption.

The PABSEC General Assembly convenes twice a year in ordinary plenary session (spring and autumn session). PABSEC includes representatives of the parliaments of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.
