The representative of the armed forces of Mari El Dmitry Gordeev confirmed that the complaint has been submitted to the court. He explained that the court of justice of the Republic will send a copy of the complaint to other participants in the process.

NIZHNY NOVGOROD, 27 Nov. Representatives Sergey Mamaev, whose statement about cancellation of results of elections of the head region did not satisfy the Supreme court of Mari El, on Friday appealed the decision of the court, said the second Secretary of the Republican Committee of the Mari branch of the CPRF Gennady Zubkov.

The Supreme court of Mari El November 13, refused to satisfy the requirement about cancellation of results of elections of the head region received from the candidate of the Communist party Mamaev. On that day, the representative of the claimant Sergey Savchenko said that “the court’s decision is not based on law” and will be appealed in an appeal order.

“The complaint brought to trial”, — said Zubkov.

The representative of the Supreme court of Mari El Dmitry Gordeyev has confirmed receipt of the complaint. “Tonight the appeal brought to the court, the office of the registering”, — said the Agency interlocutor, adding that to deal with the appeal will be the Supreme court of the Russian Federation.

He explained that the Supreme court of the Republic will send a copy of the complaint to other participants in the process who will be given time to object. And then the objections received, the complaint and the case will be sent to the Supreme court of the Russian Federation.

Presidential elections were held on September 13, for the position claimed five people. The victory was won by the acting head of the region Leonid Markelov, who scored 50,76%, his closest rival, Sergei Mamayev, from the Communist party put forward, scored 32,33% votes. Markelov on 21 September assumed the position of head of the Republic. He leads the region since 2001.

After the elections, the leader of the CPRF Gennady Zyuganov said that due to controversial moments during the counting of votes the party requires recalculation and intends to apply to the court in this regard. Later, Mamaev sent to the Supreme court of Mari El the statement about cancellation of results of elections of the head region.
