Construction: outflow of Turkish workers from Russia will not affect the timing and cost of facilities


MOSCOW, November 29. The outflow of Turkish workers from Russia will not affect the timing and cost of construction projects, said the Minister of construction and housing and utilities Mikhail Men.

“The outflow of Turkish workers will not affect the timing and cost of facilities. Russian specialists today on less professionally handle all types of construction works”, – said the Minister.

Earlier, the Ministry of construction of the Russian Federation did not rule out leaving the Russian construction market to Turkish companies and workers. “In the real estate segment, primarily commercial, is quite a lot of Turkish companies, and we do not exclude that some of them will go with the implementation of major projects in the country. Their credibility as partners, undermined”, – said the head of Ministry of construction.

Putin signed a decree on application of special economic measures in relation to Turkey

“After the events with the Russian plane any support for Turkish projects in the Russian construction market will be revised,” the Minister said.

In the near future the RF Ministry of construction will review with other agencies and big developers, joint development projects in Russia and Turkey, reported Men.

The head of the Ministry also stressed that Turkish workers are not involved in the construction of housing economy class.

Earlier Men reported that, according to the regions and the National Association of builders, currently, Turkish companies do not participate in any gosstroek. “There are no solutions here, and we have just started to work, and will present their proposals to the Ministry of economic development, which will accumulate all the proposals of ministries and agencies on this issue,” he added.

The Minister also added that he sees no risk and the increased cost in the construction market in the case of treatment with Turkish companies.
