VLADIVOSTOK, November 28. Russia stands for the territorial inviolability and political integrity of States in the Middle East. This was stated press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov in interview to the leading program “Vesti on Saturday” Sergei Brilev.
“You know, it’s too vulnerable region, and, therefore, absolutely undeniable constant should remain territorial and political integrity of all States in the region and Syria, and Turkey, and Iraq,” he said. “Otherwise the consequences could be catastrophic for the region, which is actually adjacent to our borders,” said the spokesman.
The journalist reminded the press-Secretary that in the region there are different political and ethnic forces, for example, the Kurdish militia. “Kurdish militia, in fact, they actually quite effective in preventing and in the North of Iraq, they are very effectively fight Islamic state (terrorist group forbidden in the Russian Federation)”,- said Peskov. “It’s a much more realistic force in the fight against ISIL than ephemeral Free Syrian army,” he said.
