MOSCOW, November 28. The measures listed in the presidential decree on application of special economic measures against Turkey, should give Ankara to understand that flirting with terrorism is unacceptable. This was stated by Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on international Affairs Konstantin Kosachev.

Putin signed a decree on application of special economic measures in relation to Turkey
“I am confident that this hard, strong, of course, will bring our Turkish neighbors in the proper sense. How this will occur depends largely on personal position (of Turkish President Tayyip) Erdogan,” – said Kosachev, adding that in the first days after the tragedy with the Russian bomber, the Turkish leader has demonstrated its political responsibility “in the minimum and not the maximum volume.”
The Senator expressed hope that “Turkey now Wake up, realize that flirting with terrorism is unacceptable”.
The head of the international Committee of the Federation Council called the decree of the President “event system”. “It’s not just a reaction to the recent tragic events associated with the downed Russian bomber in reaction to a different, a new perception of Turkey as a country which voluntarily or involuntarily has appeared in a number of supporters of terrorism”, – he noted.
President signed the document “collects together the entire set of measures that are necessary to this additional threat to defend Russia and its citizens”, believes Kosachev. – This decree timely, adequate, correct, I’m sure it will be effective to solve these problems”.
Putin’s decree is a response to “the limitations of Turkey’s President”
First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on defense and security Frants Klintsevich believes that Putin’s decree “is the answer to the so-called disappointment of the President of Turkey in connection with the downed Russian plane.”
“After the tragic incident we four days – four days – leaving the door open. But any reasonable explanation did not wait. Now, I’m afraid the point of no return has already been passed”, – said the Senator.
The measures proposed by Putin, adequate
Member of the expert Council of the Fund “Institute of socio-economic research” (ISAPI) Alexey Zudin believes adequate measures proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin in Turkey.
“I think this is an adequate measure against Turkey”, – said the expert.
The expert explained that the proposed measures do not address questions related to oil and gas supplies, much of which Turkey buys in the Russian Federation. “I’m glad that it (the decree) has not affected gas-oil sector,” said Zudin.
The President’s decree on measures against Turkey
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday signed a decree on the temporary ban from 1 January 2016 to hire workers from among the citizens of Turkey. Also with the new year, suspended the agreement with Turkey on visa-free regime. A ban or restriction on the import into Russia of certain goods from Turkey (the list will be determined by the government). In addition, it is not recommended to tour operators to sell trips to Turkey. The government was instructed to strengthen control over the activities of the Turkish road carriers on the territory of Russia in order to ensure security.
