Moscow will cancel the year of Russian-Turkish cooperation

This decision was made in the framework of restrictive measures in the economic and humanitarian spheres, which are taken in response to an act of aggression by Turkey, said Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets.

MOSCOW, 30 Nov. Russia cancels year of Russian-Turkish cooperation, which was originally scheduled for 2016, said Monday Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets.

“We had to stop our cooperation on this issue”, — said the Golodets told reporters.

Earlier, the Minister of culture Vladimir Medinsky said that the bilateral year of culture and tourism of Russia and Turkey in 2017 and 2018 are planned.
