DUBAI, November 29. There is a possibility of growth of prices for food products in Russia, if you can not quickly replace their imports from Turkey, says Deputy Minister of economic development of the Russian Federation Oleg Fomichev.

“If there are serious changes in the volume of imports is still affects from one side to the turnover, on the other hand, a significant part of the production is food. On 28 November the President of Russia Vladimir Putin has signed the decree about application of special economic measures against Turkey.

One of the points of the decree was the prohibition or restriction on the importation into Russia of certain goods from Turkey according to the list determined by the government of the Russian Federation.

On the territory of the Russian Federation temporarily introduced a “ban or restriction on foreign economic operations involving the import to the territory of the Russian Federation separate kinds of the goods, the country of origin which is the Republic of Turkey, on a list established by the Government of the Russian Federation (except goods imported for personal use to the extent permitted by law of the Eurasian economic Union),” according to the decree “On measures for safeguarding national security of the Russian Federation and protecting Russian citizens from criminal and other unlawful acts and on application of special economic measures against the Turkish Republic.”

The attack on su-24M

On Tuesday, the fighter from the Turkish air force F-16 shot down Russian bomber su-24M, which, according to Ankara, had violated the country’s airspace near the border with Syria.
