Erdogan is ready to resign if it is confirmed allegations of Turkey purchases oil from ISIS
Putin stressed that, in particular, the continuing financial support of terrorists in Syria. “We obtained additional data confirming that the oil controlled by the ISIL (the former name “Islamic state”, an organization banned in Russia), this oil on an industrial scale flows to Turkey”, – said Putin.
“And we have every reason to believe that the decision over whether to shoot down our plane was dictated by the desire to ensure the safety of these routes for the delivery of this oil to ports where it is shipped in tankers,” said he.
“Protection is only a pretext,” – said Putin.

Putin “hard to believe” that Ankara does not know about the supply of oil from terrorists from Syria
At the same time he stressed that Russia has always advocated the formation of a broad antiterrorist coalition. “But this cannot be done, until someone will use part of the terrorist organizations to achieve immediate goals,” said Putin.
However, the Russian leader noted that some countries are still not ready for this, tragic proof of which was the attack of the Turkish air force Russian su-24. “But we will continue to strive to create a viable broad coalition”, – he said. “So regional, parochial or financial interests went by the wayside in the face of global terror threat”, – said Putin.
“It was not necessary to shoot down the plane”
Putin also noted that the topic of the downed Turkey su-24 were heard at his meetings with leaders in Paris. “As for the topic of the downed Russian plane, then, of course, those occasions almost all of my bilateral meetings, I gave the appropriate explanations, talked about what happened, – said Putin. All your colleagues are listened to and most share at least the notion that there was no need to strike at the unprotected Russian bomber that Turkey is not threatened”.

Obama in his meeting with Putin expressed regret in connection with incident with the Russian su-24
Putin noted that he had heard from the Turkish side of explanation of what allegedly is not the President of Turkey took the decision to shoot down the su-24 that was received by other persons. “For us it is not in General of great importance, – said Putin. – As a result of this criminal action killed two of our soldiers: the commander of the crew and Marines that were part of a group / crew. What they did, you’d have to ask them. This is a huge mistake.”
Putin admitted that he personally very sorry for the relations of Russia and Turkey, but a number of problems originated long ago. “I think we all feel sorry and I am personally very sorry, because I personally have done a lot to build those relationships over a long period of time,” said the Russian leader. “But there are problems that arose long ago, and we tried to solve it in dialogue with our Turkish partners,” Putin said. “It is a pity that they have to solve in such a situation, but it’s not our fault, it’s not our choice”, – said the President of the Russian Federation.

“Vague explanations”: Putin about Turkey’s position on su-24 and illegal oil shipments
“We have been asked to pay attention to the fact that members of the terrorist organizations that have been fighting and trying to fight us with arms in some regions of Russia, including in the North Caucasus, “float” on the territory of Turkey,” – said the Russian leader, stressing that Moscow asked Ankara “to halt such practices”.
“However, we are stating that they are on the territory of the Turkish Republic who live on protected by security services and police regions, and then, using a visa-free regime, emerge again in our territory, and we continue to deal with them”, – Putin said.
The President of the Russian Federation concluded that these problems were ripe long ago, and Moscow has repeatedly raised them “and on the level of intelligence on so-called partnership channels, and at the level of foreign Ministers and at the highest political level”. “Unfortunately, we have not seen a partnership response to all our concerns,” he said.
The attack on the Russian su-24M
November 24, fighter from the Turkish air force F-16 shot down Russian bomber su-24M, which, according to Ankara, had violated the country’s airspace near the border with Syria.
The crew of a military aircraft managed to eject, but one of the two pilots was killed by ground fire. The second pilot was rescued. In search of the pilots was attended by two helicopters Mi-8. One of the cars came under fire and made an emergency landing. One marine soldier was killed.
In the Russian defense Ministry said the su-24M was extremely over Syrian territory, and that violations of its airspace was not.
Vladimir Putin warned that the attack on the bomber would have “serious consequences” for Russian-Turkish relations. According to the head of state, the Turkish air force attack on the Russian plane involved in anti-terrorist operations in Syria and posed a threat to Turkey, is a “stab in the back” of Russia.
