The Board of the FAS decided to deregulate tariffs at Moscow airports

Moscow. November 30. Tariff Board, the Federal Antimonopoly service on meeting, on Monday adopted a decision on the deregulation of tariffs for services in the airports of Moscow aviation hub (UIA), said one of the participants.

As reported, the FAS plans to deregulate tariffs at airports MAU from the beginning of 2016. On Monday told the head of Department of regulation of transport of Department Dmitry Rutenberg.

“It is expected to make a decision concerning the non-application of price regulation. The airports MAU will retain the status of subjects of natural monopolies and will continue to spread other forms of state regulation and control, such as requirements for nondiscriminatory access, information disclosure and other issues,” he said.

“The entry into force of the decision on deregulation is necessary that it is registered by Ministry of justice. So the beginning of 2016 seems to be a real term (for entry into force),” added the official.

Rutenberg added that one of the requirements for airports, will be the submission to the FAS of specatcles of applicable tariffs. “We should not forget that the methods of Antimonopoly control will always be maintained. So for “chaos” with the tariffs can be followed by a corresponding responsibility”, – stressed the representative of the FAS.
