The Russian government approved the list of agricultural products, raw materials and food, country origin is Turkey and who is prohibited from 1 January 2016 to be imported into Russia.
MOSCOW, 1 Dec. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on application of special economic measures against Turkey, the press service of the government of the Russian Federation on Tuesday.
“The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on measures to implement presidential Decree “On measures for safeguarding national security of the Russian Federation from criminal and other unlawful acts and on application of special economic measures against the Turkish Republic”, — stated in the message.
The decree of the Cabinet on 30 November approved the list of agricultural products, raw materials and food, country origin is Turkey and who is prohibited from 1 January 2016 to be imported into Russia.

Reportedly, it is established that the restrictions in respect of goods provided by the list, do not apply to goods imported for personal use to the extent permitted by law of the Eurasian economic Union.
The resolution comes into force after its official publication.
Relations of Russia and Turkey are in crisis after November 24, in Syria fighter from the Turkish air force has shot down a Russian su-24 bomber. Four days later Vladimir Putin signed a decree on measures to ensure national security and on the special economic measures against Turkey.
