On the unified coalition against the terrorists and the attack on su-24M
Talk about approaching the creation of a unified coalition against the terrorists in Syria are premature, said Sands, to sum up bilateral meetings of the Russian leader opened on the eve of the climate conference in Paris.
“To say that yesterday somehow brought us closer to the creation of a single coalition, I think, is premature,” – said the representative of the Kremlin. According to him, now “there is a growing understanding of the need for intensification of information exchange”. “But for real operational engagement, it is still, probably, the circumstances are not quite ripe, from the point of view of our counterparts, our partners,” he concluded.

Peskov reminded that now the Russian military has suspended contacts with Turkey. “I’m not ready to talk about it”, – said the press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation to the question about the possibility of resuming ties.
The incident with the su-24M
A fighter from the Turkish air force F-16 on November 24 shot down a Russian bomber su-24M, which, according to Ankara, had violated the country’s airspace near the border with Syria.
The defense Ministry claims that the su-24M was extremely over Syrian territory and that “violations of the airspace of Turkey.” Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that the attack on the bomber would have “serious consequences” for Russian-Turkish relations. According to the head of state, the Turkish air force attack on the Russian plane, which was involved in anti-terrorist operations in Syria and did not pose a threat to Turkey, is a “stab in the back” of Russia.
The crew of su-24M managed to eject, but one of the two pilots was killed by ground fire. The second pilot rescued and taken to base. In search of the pilots was attended by two helicopters Mi-8. One of the cars came under fire and made an emergency landing. One marine soldier was killed. The others aboard the helicopter were evacuated and are safe. Downed Mi-8 was subsequently destroyed by mortar fire from the territory controlled by the militants.
