VELIKY NOVGOROD, December 1. /Corr. Julia Generozova/. The mayor of Veliky Novgorod Yuri Bobryshev is not going to leave his post, despite the possibility of re-impeachment on the part of deputies Gordumy. About it the mayor has informed on Tuesday to journalists.

“I’m not going anywhere, ready for any eventuality and in the upcoming Duma intends to report on each item of the claims,” he said, commenting on the decision of the Council of the Duma of Veliky Novgorod of the intention to consider removing the mayor to resign on December 10.

This is the second attempt of the deputies to send the current mayor to resign. On 29 may this year with majority of votes of deputies of the local Duma (23 out of 26 in attendance) the head of the city was dismissed on the same grounds, however, won the case and in September was reinstated.

Send the mayor in resignation

Earlier on Tuesday it became known that deputies intend a second time to send the mayor of Veliky Novgorod in resignation. The decision to consider removing the mayor from office is adopted at the Council meeting of the city Duma.

“In the agenda of the nearest session Gordumy included the question “About the removal of the Mayor of Veliky Novgorod Yuri Bobryshev resign”, – said the press service of the local Parliament. The meeting is scheduled for December 10.
