State Duma Deputy from the Communist party Vladimir Bessonov sent a letter to the speaker of the state Duma Sergei Naryshkin with a proposal to hold the extraordinary “government hour” with the attorney General on 18 December.
MOSCOW, 2 Dec. State Duma Deputy from the Communist party Vladimir Bessonov sent a letter to the leadership of the state Duma with a proposal to invite on “the governmental hour” on December 18 the public Prosecutor of the Russian Federation Yuri Chaika in connection with the publication about the alleged illegal activities of members of his family.
“I sent a letter to the (speaker of the state Duma Sergey) Naryshkin’s proposal to hold the extraordinary “government hour” with the attorney General on 18 December,” said Bessonov.
Previously, he acted with such offer at session of the state Duma, but the initiative was not considered, as the Deputy brought her into conflict with the rules.
Bessonov said that his proposal related to “defamatory publications,” the family of the public Prosecutor.
Earlier, the oppositionist Alexey Navalny on his website has published information regarding alleged illegal activities of the family of the Prosecutor General. The President’s press Secretary Dmitry Peskov told journalists that the Kremlin had not seen this information.
