Commenting on media reports that Dmitriev may soon resign, and the government is looking for a replacement, Deputy Prime Minister Khloponin has not confirmed this, adding that “in the media a lot of what is discussed”.
MOSCOW, 3 Dec. The resignation of Vladimir Dmitriev as head of Vnesheconombank is not discussed, said Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Khloponin, a part of the Supervisory Board of VEB.
The newspaper Vedomosti on Monday reported citing two bankers, two employees of Vnesheconombank and the official, Dmitriev what may soon to retire, the government is looking for a replacement.
“In the media a lot of what is discussed. The media have all changed, all was removed. No, of course not,” — said Hloponin, answering the question whether the government is discussing the resignation Dmitriev.
