MOSCOW, December 3. The Ministry of culture, the Federal tourism Agency and the Ministry of transport prepared suggestions for support and development of the tourism industry due to the suspension of air links with Egypt. This is stated in a statement posted Thursday on the website of the government of the Russian Federation.
As stated in the press release of the Cabinet, one of the remaining after completion of the operational headquarters, was formed in connection with the plane crash in Egypt, is “state support and development of the tourism industry, forced to radically alter the format of its work in connection with the decisions on the suspension of air links with Egypt.”
“At the moment the Ministry of culture, the Federal tourism Agency and the Ministry of transport prepared suggestions on this topic. This work will continue joint efforts with the participation of tourist organizations”, – stated in a press release.
On November 6, President Vladimir Putin agreed with the recommendations of the National anti-terrorism Committee to suspend air traffic with Egypt after the collapse of the Russian A321 aircraft over the Sinai. According to investigators, the cause of PE, which claimed 31 October the lives of 224 people, was a terrorist attack.
