According to him, the amount which must be obtained from the Federal road Fund, already all accounted for in the revenue side of the budget for next year. “Not only in income, but in expenditure. They get to the road funds of subjects of Federation on the implementation of those projects in the regions and in Khabarovsk, and in the Volga region and Rostov-on-don, and many other regions”, – said Sokolov.

About the system “Platon”

System “Platon”, providing the toll for heavy vehicles weighing more than 12 tonnes of tolls on Federal highways, are available from 15 November. Until March 1, 2016, trucks to pay 1,53 rubles for each kilometer, in the future, the rate will increase. It is planned that in 2016 the collection of payments will bring 40 billion. The money will be spent on the repair of Federal highways.

Why truckers against the “Plato”

The unions believe that the problems truckers associated primarily with work in the “shadow” sector of the market, not the system “Platon”, which includes the toll for heavy vehicles.

This opinion was previously expressed by the President of the Confederation of labour of Russia, member of the presidential Council of the Russian Federation on development of civil society and human rights Boris Kravchenko.

“The truckers protest is not in the labor sphere. They are self-employed entrepreneurs are not entering in the open labour relations. The drivers of heavy vehicles are against the introduction of a new tax on business entities”, – said Kravchenko.
