Ambassador: Mexico has bought from Russia for 30 Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft

EKATERINBURG, December 4. Mexico purchased 30 Russian Sukhoi Superjet 100, told reporters the Ambassador of Mexico in Russia Ruben Beltran, who arrived in Yekaterinburg.

“We see great prospects for cooperation with Russia in all spheres. For example, Mexico just bought 30 Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft,” said Beltran.

The press service of the Russian company, in turn, said that of these, 18 aircraft have already been delivered Mexican Interjet.

“As of December 4, 2015 total number of ordered Interjet aircraft type is 30 SSJ100 aircraft. 18 of them have already been transferred to the airline, and they carry out commercial operations from September 2013”, – explained in the company.

The Ambassador also noted that the government of Mexico has invested “a large sum” in an engineering factory in Ulyanovsk. “We are also developing relations in the field of food, in particular, in the production of corn flour in the Moscow region. The volume of trade turnover with Russia grows, we hope that will not stop,” – said the Ambassador.

According to the Ministry of economy of Mexico, in 2014 the volume of trade of Mexico and Russia amounted to $1,78 billion on average, this indicator increased by 17% since 1999.
