Rogozin in Crimea will hold a meeting on measures to support enterprises of the defence industry in emergency situations


MOSCOW, December 5. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin on Saturday will visit Simferopol, where he will hold a meeting on the activities of the military-industrial complex of Crimean Federal district and Sevastopol in emergency situations. This was reported by a source in the office of the Deputy Prime Minister.

“Crimea has a number of industrial enterprises, including those involved in the fulfilment of state orders that are not currently in full receive electricity, – said the source. – Social priority is on the first place, but about the industry too should not be forgotten. Therefore, the situation requires intervention”.

According to the interlocutor of the Agency, the adoption of operational measures for power supply of enterprises of defense industry will also help to solve social problems of the Federal district, because simple businesses is inevitably reflected on the quality of people’s lives.

The meeting will be attended by the representatives of the Ministry of industry and trade, the Ministry of emergency situations, the Ministry of energy at the level of Deputy Ministers, members of the Board of the military-industrial complex, the leadership of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, the Director of the largest defense enterprises of the Peninsula.

The Peninsula was completely de-energized in the night of November 22, the result of blowing up of transmission towers coming from Ukraine. Such power outages in the recent history of Russia yet was not. To the Peninsula from many regions of the country arrive every day generators and fuel, all day, thousands of staff of operational agencies trying to improve the lives of residents of the Republic. By common efforts the situation in Crimea has stabilized.
