FAS filed another case over the volume of advertisements in relation to NTV


MOSCOW, December 7. The Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) of Russia initiated a second case against the NTV channel because it exceeded the volume of advertising broadcast on the air. About it reported in a press-release FAS.

FAS for the first time recognized the TV channel violated the law because it exceeded the volume of advertising

According to authorities, when measuring the ratio of the sound level of advertising and announcements and the sound volume level interrupt their TV shows revealed of exceeding by more than 1,5 dB in 5 cases.

“In accordance with clause 7 of the Methodology the value of the sound volume unit of advertising or announcements must not exceed the value of the sound volume or derelanko potrachennoe of the fragment by more than 1.5 dB”, – stated in the message of the FAS of Russia.

The matter is scheduled for consideration on 22 December 2015.

This is the second case against NTV. Earlier FAS initiated proceedings on excess volume of advertising during the TV program “Morning with Julia Vysotskaya”. Then the sound level of advertising and announcements exceeded the volume of the sound interrupted their favorite TV shows of 1.90 and 2.07 dB.

Earlier it was reported that the Russians may 25, 2015 may file a complaint to the FAS on the volume of television advertising. The Agency launched the lab, which verifies the volume in commercials for compliance with the requirements of the amendments to the law “On advertising”.
